Check current platform requirements
TikTok’s official guidance requires creators to be at least 18 to go LIVE. Other availability can depend on region and account status. Do not treat an old follower-count claim or another account’s interface as proof of your own eligibility.

- Follow current in-account prompts.
Verify the intended computer-streaming route
Having a mobile LIVE entry does not establish access to every computer-streaming method. Check the permission required by the route you will use. Changing encoders or scenes will not resolve missing account eligibility.
- Confirm login and account status.
- Check the relevant streaming capability separately.
Prepare devices and authorized content
After eligibility is clear, test upload capacity, computer load, camera, microphone and media. Verify framing and rights before a short trial broadcast. If platform access remains unavailable, use TikTok’s help process; TKLive cannot grant missing platform permissions.
